Meghalaya Trip

Day 0: 30th June 2023 (Friday)

We will leave for the Tamabil border via Sylhet by night train.

Day 1: 1st July 2023 (Saturday)

After completing the Tamabil immigration customs formalities, we will go to Dauki Bazar. Reserve a taxi or Maruti Jeep to visit Umkrem Falls, Barhill Falls (known to us as Panthumai Jharna), Nahwet Living Root Bridge, Maolinong Village, and drive to Shillong Staying at Shillong for the night.

Day 2: 2nd July 2023 (Sunday)

Today we will visit Cherrapunji. In the morning, we will arrange a taxi and go out to Thangkarang Park, Maosmai Cave, Maosmai Eco Park (Seven Sisters Falls Top), and Seven Sisters Falls View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Laipateng Falls.
At night, one can spend time shopping or watching a movie. Shillong is still at night today.

Day 3: 3rd July 2023 (Monday)

After breakfast in the morning, book a taxi and visit Lightloom Umiam Lake (also known as Barapani Lake), Elephant Falls, Don Bosco Museum, Shillong Peak (now Shillong Peak is closed for Bangladeshis), and come back to the hotel. Freshen up at the hotel, have lunch, and reserve a taxi again to Sonangpedeng.

Day 4: 4th July 2023 (Tuesday)

Waking up early in the morning, stroll along the Umonggot River, watch the hanging bridge, and have breakfast at the cottage. Before breakfast, we can take a boat ride on the river. After breakfast, we will reserve a boat from the ghat in front of the cottage and go upstream of the river. If you want, you can go kayaking and snorkeling (at your own expense). We will also have lunch near Krangsuri (at our own convenience). Then we will go to Dawki Bazar from there to the border.
We will enter Bangladesh after completing the formalities at the border. From there we will come to Sylhet city and have dinner with five brothers and get back by bus.

Day 5: 5th July 2023 (Wednesday)

After reaching home in the morning, we will go to the home/office as usual.

Some important information regarding the tour:
For the Meghalaya trip, you need to get a visa through Dauki Border. If there is no Dauki border in the visa, it can be added for 300 rupees. 

If someone cannot go for any reason, he has to manage his replacement. The group will definitely try to manage his replacement and no extra payment will be made.

Child Policy:
0 to 3 years old: Free
3+ to 5 years old: 50% of tour fee applicable (in that case child will share a seat with parents)
5+ Years: Full Package
