Panchagarh, Tetulia, Banglabandha Land Port
Dhaka - Panchagarh Meet up at Komlapur Rail Station at around 11:00PM. Board the train and start the journey to the northernmost district of Bangladesh, Panchagarh. It is almost a 12 hour journey. On the way, we will be able to see Chalan Beel at the time of sunrise, which is a spectacular view.
Panchagarh - Tetulia We will reach Panchagarh at around 12:00PM in the noon. We will start for Tetulia from the Tetulia Bus Stand in Panchagarh after a cup of tea. Reaching Tetulia, we will check-in to the DC Bungalow. After a bit of rest we will roam around the city of Tetulia to watch the Shiliguri Bridge from the bank of Mahananda river, which divides India and Bangladesh. We will visit the ancient Shiv Temple, and lastly visit the Tetulia Tea Garden. Then after having snacks in the evening we will pass leisure time beside the bank of Mahananda river right in front of the DC Bungalow.
Way to Banglabandha We will start at around 11:00AM after having breakfast for Anandadhara at Rowshonpur. On the way, we will have a clear view of Kanchenjunga from Shalbahan, if the sky is clear. Anandadhara is located inside the area of Kazi & Kazi Tea Garden in Rowshonpur. From there, we will start for Banglabandha and have lunch at Shalbahan. At Banglabandha we will watch the border closing parade at 4:30PM and come back to the bungalow.
Back to Dhaka We will start for Panchagarh Rail Station at around 12:00PM to board the Panchagarh Express Train at 1:40PM to come back to Dhaka. NB - If the sky is clear then Kanchenjunga can be seen clearly from almost anywhere in Tetulia.
